The day promises to provide fun and educational activities for children and adults and will include: prairie/savanna walking tours of the Alderville First Nation Black Oak Savanna as well as bus tours to and a walk-about around unique prairie restoration sites managed by the Nature Conservancy of Canada. There will be live music, games, crafts, face painting and nature demonstrations. Several environmental and educational information booths (including the KTTC!) and this year, for the first time ever, there will be prairie plants for you to purchase and plant in your home garden.
This event is FREE. Come on out and have a great day and learn about this beautiful and imperilled ecosystem.

The KTTC will have an information display set up - come on out and learn how to identify the 8 species of turtle in Ontario and how you can help with their conservation!
